| Erthan is an improvisational jamband that started in the winter of 2005 in the mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania. The four members shared the same vision on how the music should be presented, and became close friends immediately. The band started from the ground up. Playing everyday, and writing new and inventive music. As the years passed Erthan’s fan base in Pennsylvania grew from small town bars to more upscale venues. Erthan found that even though everything was going well for them in Pennsylvania they wanted to expand their following. So in the fall of 2007 the whole band packed up and moved together to beautiful Asheville, North Carolina to start fresh and pursue full time careers as musicians. Erthan consists of Jason Staniszewski on Guitar/Vocals, Justin Staniszewski on Drums/Vocals, Bryan Cawley on Bass, and Ezra Meyer on Guitar/Vocals. Although they are still young, all in their early twenties, The band remains focused and determined to keep the scene alive. |
